The Carpanelli company, as far as mechanical design is concerned, uses CAD stations and 3D solid modeling programs; magnetic CAD programs for the design and simulation of the equivalent electric circuit of the motor; it also has two metrological laboratories with instruments which highlight the dynamic behavior of the motor and its characteristics (thermal balance, short-circuit, starting). There are four motor test benches, which cover a power ranging from 30W to 25 kW, and a three-dimensional testing machine (coordinate measuring machine): a latest generation instrument that allows extremely precise measurements to be made; up to the quality office to guarantee the maximum yield of the finished product.
